The center was founded in the 1992 and still directed by Ciro Caliendo,musicologist and violin maker, the only pupil that the two masters have ever had . He  according to the will of Annarumma ‘s heirs, while is waiting a better collaboration in a museum , prves and keeps alive the historic violin-making laboratory, studing and testing old and modern musical instruments construction and restore tecniques.


 

 

The Center has by its side several prestigeans activities:

 

* The First Documentary Exibition about Storic Violine-Making of the south of Italy (Ravello  Villa Rufolo, July 1996), for wham an excellent Catalogue with photos and organological essays , drawn up by Marco Tiella and Ciro Caliendo, was edited by Aspasia;


* The Monographic Exposition "The Art of folk song , the beat and the memory of the Chitarra Battente" (Salerno, Verdi Theater, April 1998 )  inaugurated by Master Roberto De Simone. During the exposition was introduced "The Chitarra Battente " written by Mr. Ciro Caliendo and edited by Aspasia.


* The First National Meeting of historic violine-making of the south of Italy (Salerno ,S. Agostino ‘s palace, May 1999 ), whose acts will be published soon;


* 7th edition of music review " Violammore"
